Group Events & Private Tours
Private coach hire for day tours, winery trips, group celebrations and sightseeing across Melbourne, the Yarra Valley, the Mornington Peninsula and the Great Ocean Road.
Private Day Tours and Group Charters Across Victoria
Some journeys are the occasion rather than the way to get there. Alston Coaches runs private charters for winery days in the Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula, Great Ocean Road tours, milestone birthdays, club outings and family celebrations.
You set the itinerary and we build the day around it, including how long you want at each stop. The coach stays with the group, so there is nothing to arrange between one destination and the next.
- Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, Great Ocean Road and Daylesford
- Your itinerary, your stops, your timings
- The coach stays with the group for the whole day
- Birthdays, anniversaries, club outings and reunions
- Onboard toilet, climate control and microphone on larger coaches
01
A Day Built to Your Itinerary
Tell us the stops and roughly how long you want at each, and we will tell you whether the day works and what to adjust if it does not. Winery days in particular tend to be planned with one cellar door too many.
We can also suggest routes where you would rather leave the detail to us.
02
The Coach Stays With You
On a private charter the vehicle and chauffeur remain with the group all day. Bags, coats and purchases stay on board between stops, and there is no waiting for a return pickup.
For groups visiting cellar doors, that also means nobody in the party has to stay sober to drive.
03
Comfortable Over a Long Day
A full day out is a long time in a seat. Larger coaches carry an onboard toilet, climate control, reclining seats and a roving microphone for anyone giving commentary along the way.
We match the vehicle to the group so a party of fourteen is not rattling around in a 57-seater.
